In the final international fixture of 2025, an exciting England team will face South Africa at Plettenberg Bay on 29 December.

Tommy Severn (5) will captain Louis Hine (5), Dom Lodge (4), and Hugo Taylor (4) in the match as England looks to take their first victory over the hosts this season; on 15 November South Africa won 8-6 at Val de Vie and on 22 August, a Young South Africa Women’s team won against a Young England Women’s team at Guards.

Tommy Severn has already captained the England team to a win this year, against the USA in the Golden Jubilee at Beaufort Polo Club, while Louis Hine scored a win against Brazil in the Coronation Cup. Hugo Taylor appears here fresh from his first Cowdray Gold Cup victory for La Dolfina Scone in July, while Dom Lodge won against Peru on his last England appearance in 2023.

South Africa have yet to confirm their team, but have named a six-strong squad in the running for selection: Chris Mackenzie (6), Chris Lund (5), Dirk van Reenen (5), Gareth Evans (5), Jack Spilsbury (4), and Dane Csaszar (4).
