The winter international season for the England team is off to a flying start, with a win for the team in Australia as part of the exciting F3 Polo event at Centennial Park on Saturday 8 November.
The team of Will Harper (4), Jimbo Fewster (5), and Ollie Cork (4) played in a three-a-side international match against Tommy Martin, Alec White, and Jake Daniels in for a final score of 12-4 and a win for England.
Next stop was Val de Vie, South Africa, for the Standard Bank International Test Match against a hot South Africa team. The England team, led by Matt Perry (6) on flying form returning from injury, comprised Marcus Cork (3), Robbie Slatter (2), and Tom Brodie (5), played against Dane Csaszar (4), Jannie Steenkamp (4), Marek Kanigowski (4), and Alex Watson (4). The England team dominated the first half, but in the end it was the home side who emerged the victors after an extra chukka saw the score finish at 8-6.
The England team will be back in action in South Africa on the 29 December at Plettenberg Bay for the next international fixture – watch this space for updates!
