The HPA is deeply saddened to confirm the death of Harry Revell following an incident during a match at Cowdray Park Polo Club on Friday 11 September.
Harry was a much-loved and respected member of the polo community, and our thoughts are first and foremost with his wife, family, friends, and teammates at this desperately difficult time.
Cowdray has remained in close contact with Harry’s family since the accident and both the Club and the HPA will continue to offer them the support we can.
We would like to thank the paramedics, the Air Ambulance and everyone involved in Harry’s care. As a mark of respect, the Farewell Cup has been abandoned. The remainder of the polo season at Cowdray will resume in due course. Out of respect for Harry’s family, we ask that their privacy is respected.
