With the winter arena season underway, we are excited to announce the opposition for the Arena International for the Bryan Morrison Trophy at Hickstead on 17 January 2026. Making a return having last played here in 2023, the USA will line up against England for this prestigious trophy.
On their last visit, it was the England side who emerged victorious, with Max Charlton, Matias Amaya, and Jack Hyde defeating the American team of Tommy Biddle, Patrick Uretz, and Felipe Viana 19-13 over four chukkas. England will be keen to get their hands on victory again in 2026, having lost out to Ireland in 2024 and Argentina in 2025, with both matches going into extra time and the win taken by a ‘Golden Goal’.
The day will open with a junior game in the morning; a great opportunity to spot some future stars as six of the brightest young arena polo talents take to the stage.
The Arena International is the perfect post-Christmas pick me up, with tickets available for just £10 on the gate, or in advance for a discounted earlybird rate. With the Clubhouse bar open and plenty of delicious hot food served, look out for the box office to open soon to grab your tickets!
