Following the July Stewards Update regarding Home Grown Players in the 22-goal, the HPA Stewards have considered the points raised and wish to continue to support the development of women in polo. We are therefore pleased to confirm the following clarification for the 2026 season:
Female players who have a Right to Work in the UK and hold a women’s handicap of 6 goals or more will be permitted to play in the 22-goal without the need the be a Home Grown Player, irrespective of their mixed handicap.
