We are excited to announce that the HPA has partnered with Lineup Polo as part of our ongoing digital transformation. As a Technical Partner, Lineup will create a fully bespoke, automated system for collecting information from VL games, significantly reducing the administrative workload for clubs, umpires, and the HPA office.
Key benefits will include:
- Membership & handicap validation. The system will automatically verify HPA memberships and handicaps at the point of data entry, ensuring all players have valid memberships before the game and reducing those last-minute membership issues.
- Game & Player Data. Match details – including player & team information, scores, flags, concussions, and injuries – will be available digitally and straight after the game to improve the flow of information between clubs, umpires, and the HPA
- Club Benefits. While initially designed for VL fixtures, all HPA clubs are encouraged to use the system for their own club tournaments, and through this partnership will receive access to several premium features of the Lineup platform free of charge, including a website widget, umpire management tools, and more. Timeline & Next Steps
The digital system is under development with Lineup and the rollout is anticipated for the early part of the 2025 outdoor season – members will be updated when the new system is live and comprehensive technical support will be available to ensure a smooth transition.
