This historic 16-goal match is the headline event of the day, with England facing what promises to be a strong USA team in a battle for the trophy. First presented by Queen Elizabeth II in 2002 to celebrate her 50 years on the throne, the Golden Jubilee has been claimed by some of the biggest names in polo, including the Duke of Sussex. Last year, New Zealand narrowly defeated England, but the home side will be determined to score victory this year on their own turf against the Americans.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Earlier in the day, a Young England team will compete for the Buckmaster Trophy, which they reclaimed in 2024 against Young New Zealand. Their opposition for this year’s match will be confirmed soon.
