Decisions of the Disciplinary Review Panel (DRP)
1. Following an incident on 22 May 2026 at a Dollar Cup League match at Cowdray Park Polo Club involving Simon Arber, the HPA DRP have concluded that in accordance with HPA Rule 50a (pg 88 Part 1 of the Blue Book) a Red Flag should have been awarded for verbal abusive or disrespect towards an official. Their decision is that he will be suspended for his next 2 Victor Ludorum matches commencing from 30th May 2026.
2. Following an incident on 24 May 2026 at the Queen’s Cup match at Guards Polo Club involving Marcos Araya and intentional misuse of a stick which endangers another player, the DRP have concluded that if the officials on the day had seen the incident he would have been awarded a Red Flag. Therefore, in accordance with HPA Rule 50a (pg 88 Part 1 of the Blue Book) the DRP have decided that Marcos will be suspended automatically for 2 matches within the Queen’s Cup. This starts with immediate effect.
