The KBIS 4 Goal Super League is off to a roaring start, with the young Windrush team going through the card at every tournament to claim their semi-final spot with an undefeated run in the Central league. Starting off with a win at Binfield Heath, the team made it two years in a row when winning the Kirtlington tournament and rounded it off with victory at Black Bears.
Team patron Harry Earnshaw joined forces with brothers Celestino and Florencio Merlos – with Harry and Celestino also playing together in the Victor Futurum series this summer – and the experienced Mikey Henderson to form a formidable team that head to the semi-final at Guards on Monday 25 August with an enviable run behind them.
The next league to complete will be North, with the third zone tournament set to finish at Cheshire Polo Club this weekend. Hardmoor Stud look to be the front runners in this zone, with wins at both White Rose and Toulston. This will be followed by East, concluding at Cambridge & Newmarket on 20 July, with a long wait before the West winner is confirmed after the final zone tournament at Tedworth on 17 August.
