The second edition of the Tri-Nations Women’s International Arena Polo Cup took place at the Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club (HPRC) between the 28th Feb and 5th of March 2023. The tournament featured teams from the United Kingdom, India, and the USA in a hotly-contested round-robin format.
The brilliant UK team, lead by Rosanna Turk with Alice Walsh, Kristina Karailieva, and reserve Lottie Harper, were undefeated throughout the tournament, held in beautiful Hyderabad, India. Beating the USA 10-3 and India 16-5, they went on to dominate 18-5 in a thrilling final match against the USA. The UK team enjoyed great hospitality from the HPRC organisers and would like to thank everyone involved for putting on such a fantastic competition.
The President of HPRC, Chaitania Kumar, was thrilled to welcome back the teams after a three-year break due to Covid for the second running of this wonderful initiative. The Tri-Nations Cup, which is planned to be held on a regular basis, aims to encourage women into the sport of polo and promote women’s polo in India and across the globe.
